Career
| When | Role | What changed |
|---|---|---|
| 2016 | Oracle Financial Services | Banking software for Oracle’s digital banking platform. |
| 2017–2024 | CTO, UPPRCAS3 (formerly Vaisansar), India | E-commerce for four consumer brands, plus salon and dairy operations platforms. Customer-targeting work my team shipped brought 20% more revenue and 40% less wasted ad spend. |
| 2022 | External CTO for Yeme Tech, UK | Rescued a stalled council children’s-services platform in about three months. Yeme Tech’s CEO then hired me. |
| 2023–2025 | Head of IT, Yeme Tech, UK | A self-serve platform for 2 million postcodes, and the council platform kept secure through independent testing. |
| 2025–2026 | Head of Technology, CommunityAI, UK | AI due diligence for charities and companies, costed per report: about 3 minutes and about 40p per charity evaluation. |
| Now | Founder, YTC — Your Tech Chief | Three years with founders through a closed network, including a premium real-estate business. Now open to more. |
What Your Tech Chief does
Your Tech Chief offers one role: fractional CTO. I own a business’s technology part-time, as much or as little as it needs, without a full-time CTO hire. Founders usually bring me one of five situations:
- Enquiries slipping through the cracks. WhatsApp and CRM lead journeys where every lead has an owner and a next step. For a premium real-estate business in India: 2.6× more conversions a month.
- Too many tools, rising costs. A clear call on what to keep, connect, replace or stop. For Bradford Council’s holiday activities platform: infrastructure costs cut 70%.
- A build that’s stuck, late or fragile. One person accountable for delivery. A stalled UK council project went live in about three months.
- An AI idea to test properly. A small, cost-aware product with a person able to override it. Charity due diligence in about 3 minutes, for about 40p.
- A product to build from zero. Architecture, team and launch, owned from the first decision.
Every engagement starts with a free 30-minute review. Within a few hours you get a written list of what to fix first. You can see the situations in more detail and what changed for six businesses.
How I work
- Map the journey before buying another tool.
- Automate timing, not relationships.
- Cost it per unit before you scale it.
My writing on these decisions is on the YTC blog, starting with how to decide what to automate.
What the people who hired me say
“Parag consistently demonstrated technical expertise, creativity, and proactive leadership. His ability to bridge deep technical knowledge with strategic foresight made him a vital asset.”
“Parag did more than automate our CRM. He took ownership of the full lead journey and turned a manual, fragmented process into a connected system that gives our team greater visibility, consistency, and confidence from enquiry to closure.”
